Below Zero Ice Driving is delighted to announce its 2021 programme. For three months from January to March 2021, the classic Porsche rally cars from the Tuthill Porsche workshop will undertake their annual pilgrimage to the frozen lakes in forests near the Norwegian border, welcoming keen drivers to the ultimate driving school.
“Inevitably, our 2021 plans have been tempered by the pandemic,” notes Richard Tuthill. “However, our wonderful base camp near to the popular ski resort of Åre offers ample space for social distancing. Norway and Sweden have controlled the virus effectively, so with the same careful attention to anti-virus protocols that our technicians employed during the 2020 race season, we are confident that we can offer a safe environment.”
To limit group sizes on the ice in line with official advice, the 2021 fleet of classic Porsche rally cars being sent to Scandinavia has been reduced from eight to four. “The energy and excitement that our experience is renowned for has been distilled into the perfect selection of four air-cooled Porsches,” said Richard. “Experienced instructors from the rally and racing worlds teach all levels from beginner to expert, making Below Zero the perfect place to prepare for an exciting new season.”
Below Zero is now open for bookings and our days are filling up quickly. Email Below Zero Ice Driving or call Tuthill Porsche on 01295 750514 to discuss available dates. We look forward to seeing you on the ice next year!
